Sleep Medicine Physician
Dr. Ghazala Quraishi is a Sleep Medicine physician with additional expertise in pediatric neurology. She is board certified in Neurology with special qualification in Child Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (D.ABP&N). She is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), the American Academy of Neurolgy (AAN) and the Child Neurology Society (CNS). She completed her medical training at American University of the Caribbean, and then her pediatric neurology residency and sleep medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Quraishi received her undergraduate degree from New York University with a major in Psychobiology. While completing her final two years of medical school in Ireland and the United States, she gained an international appreciation for the practice of medicine.
After medical school, Dr. Quraishi completed her residency in Pediatrics at the Tod Children's Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio. Her subsequent training in Child Neurology was at the renowned Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. She completed an additional year of fellowship training in Sleep Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. In 2006, Dr. Quraishi moved to Atlanta, Georgia with her family and worked as a pediatric neurologist at the Scottish Rite Hospital of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta before joining the Fusion Sleep Medicine Program.
